Charoset, The Greek-Sephardic Way
- black raisins
- almonds (two teaspoons)
- walnuts (two teaspoons)
- hazel nuts (two teaspoons)
- chestnuts (two cooked)
- apples (one or two)
- dates (five)
- figs (two)
- prunes (two)
- the peel of one orange
- the juice of two oranges
- cinnamon
- wine
Place the above salad ingredients in a food processor and mix them, until
there is a smooth texture. Shape like meatballs, and when time to use them,
pour the wine and mix well.
