Apple Crisp #2
(serves 6)
In bowl, combine:
- 6 apples, peeled, cored & sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole
In bowl, blend until crumbly consistency:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cake meal
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 6 tablespoons margarine
- Add 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Sprinkle mixture over apples and bake @ 350 degrees for 1 hour until
crust is nicely browned. Serve hot.
