Brisket
- 6-8 pound Brisket
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 6 Onions, Sliced
- 2 Envelopes Onion Soup Mix
- 1 Bottle Heinz Chili Sauce (No Substitutions)
- ½ Tsp. Pepper
Take an average size 6-8lb brisket place in a roasting pan or i prefer a disposable foil pan.
slice 6 onions, 3cloves of garlic, two envelopes onion soup mix,
one bottle Hienz chili sauce (no subtitutions)pepper to taste or ½ teaspoon.
Place water to top of meat. cover well with foil and place in 350 degree ovenuntil
tender app three hours. RPaaswell's variation is recomended for slicing thinly after
one hour of cooking. Then return covered to oven for additional 1-2 hours checking tenderness. Juices usually needs a little thickening with potatoe starch mixed with water stired in. Remove any excess fat from juices if needed before thickening.
